Job description/Key Responsibilities:

A Project Manager at CFO Solutions enhances team collaboration to eliminate obstacles to project success. The Project Manager is a proactive, confident leader who keeps the project on schedule and on budget while nurturing client relationships. Balancing intuition with efficient processes and tools, the Project Manager utilizes a practical approach to create value for clients. Responsibilities:

  • Define project schedule, tasks, milestones, and budget
  • Manage scope and expectations
  • Manage issues and risks
  • Identify stakeholders and nuture relationships
  • Ensure collaboration in a distributed team environment (virtual/telecommuting)
  • Delegate tasks and review progress
  • Escalate issues to the PMO
  • Facilitate requirements gathering meetings
  • Review deliverables for adherence to templates and quality
  • Prepare status reports and facilitate meetings
  • Ensure adherence to Design Quality Assurance processes
  • Adhere to CFO Solutions’ implementation methodology
  • Prepare invoices and audit time reporting

Required Experience:

  • 5+ years of progressive project management experience where responsibilities included creation and management of the project tasks, schedule, resources, and budget
  • 3+ years of experience with financial processes such as planning, forecasting, financial reporting, and financial consolidations
  • 3+ years of finance systems background and experience in one or more business intelligence, budgeting and planning, data warehouse, or reporting technologies
  • 3+ years of experience in consultative roles in either IT or Management Consulting
  • Experience leading teams of 5-30 people
  • Experience executing 3-18 month projects
  • Experience following formal project management methodologies
  • College degree or industry equivalent experience
